New Zealand had to leave out Jacob Oram after he fell ill following the super over defeat against Sri Lanka in th first match here on Thursday. Fast bowler Doug Bracewell took Oram's place.
England dropped Samit Patel and Jade Dernbach from the line-up which lost the first Super Eights match against the West Indies by 15 runs on Thursday. They were replaced by left-arm spinner Danny Briggs and paceman Tim Bresnan.
Top two teams from each of the two groups will qualify for the semi-finals.
